The ammonia value of bis-aminosilicone oil is related to the softening effect. At present, the low ammonia value (such as 0.3) on the market is only suitable for fiber treatment before dyeing, and it is generally difficult to meet the requirements for fabric treatment. Amino silicone oils larger than 0.6 ammonia have a problem of being too weak. After a long period of practice, it is proved that the 0.6 ammonia value is suitable.

2. Varieties of mono-ammonium, di-ammonium and tri-ammonia softeners
The bis-amino-type amino silicone oil is characterized by softness and can meet the soft finishing requirements of most fabrics. The monoamine type silicone emulsion is mainly characterized by slipperiness. Suitable for fiber, wool yarn and thread products to meet the requirements of good cohesion and smoothness. A trifunctional aminosilicone emulsion with a crosslinking agent. It has special effects on the smooth treatment of special fibers, such as polyester staple fiber filled.

The reason for the change of amino silicone oil: 

1, the ammonia value is too high. 

2. The fabric setting temperature is not suitable. 

3, the quality of amino silicone oil is problematic, free ammonia is high. 

4, low concentration of aminosilicon emulsion storage time is too long, is the result of free ammonia oxidation, generally does not affect the fabric. The amino silicone oil can be made resistant by modification.
